THIS Valentine's Day, Ti'Juana Gholson, The Children's Author, introduces "The Marvalann Collection", a 10-book series of affirmations to little girls; particularly little girls of color!
The collection is to promote healthy self-esteem and to foster positive images of self. The book titles offer words of affirmation and the body of each book confirms the front-page affirmation giving the little girl positive words to read, recite and believe.
The books are written for little girls ages 0 to 5 to help form positive self-esteem and positive self-image early BEFORE attending formal schooling. Not only is Marvalann speaking to little girls, she's speaking to the little girl inside of the woman.
Follow Marvalann as she takes you on this journey of positive self-imagery. Look for a new book to be released each month in 2019. Also looking ahead to year 2020, Marvalan will be joined by a few friends (Marvalann & Friends) and they will address issues important to youth such as bullying, child abuse, and literacy.
